The Oakley Currency™ eyeglasses frame combines temples with lightweight C-5™ alloy together with with a frame front made of stress-resistant O Matter®. Earsocks are composed of sculptural Unobtainium® remind us of the bike grip that Oakley invented, together with the vintage logo on the sides. Oakley used Twin Shock™ hinges that hyper-flex, to provide flexibility when you are going all out.
The frame's architecture is sturdier than most eyeglasses due to the unique hinges construction which do not use hinges. Instead, the solid hinge mechanism takes advantage of a durable yet lightweight titanium alloy.
